"You've already made a submarine out of one of our aircraft. Just how many more do you intend to put on the sea floor?"

Lt Cdr Eugene Faintary

"If nature always gets it right, then why do mosquitoes exist?"

Dr Lucretia Tang

CULT OF THE WYVERN might be the first aviation-themed novel to be written in response to a meme. Just how did the Westland Wyvern, a little-known British strike fighter from the 1950s that led a brief and troubled service history, become such a fan favorite?

The answer? Just add aliens.

It's 1956, at the height of the Suez Canal Crisis, and a flight of Wyverns has just escaped a harrowing encounter with the enemy. But soon, they find themselves in even greater peril when a wormhole appears, leading them far from home, to a faraway world awash in light and beauty.

And they're not the only Earthlings to be stranded. Two American scientists from seventy years into their future have also been unwitting passengers through space and time. While plotting their escape back to the world(s) they know, they learn of a grave threat to the Racosku, the brilliant and friendly native species. Desperate to help the creatures, they all have to pull together, risking becoming forever stuck in a place a literal world away from home.

In this whimsical yet emotional adventure, generations collide, personalities clash, and the Westland Wyvern might just become a mount for heroes!
